Brand new to Canine Conditioning? Why not give it a try a with a one-off foundation session

What to expect in a taught session

Canine conditioning incorporates stretch, strength and balance exercises which can help with flexibility, muscle strength, proprioception (body and spatial awareness) and balance. It also promotes focus and calm which can activate the parasympathetic nervous system which can reduce fear in anxious dogs and help them to relax.

In these taught sessions you will be shown a full range of warm up/down exercises specific to your dog, working on general and/or targeted muscle groups. A mixture of stretching (both dynamic and static) and balance exercises on different surfaces will be incorporated.

Some benefits

Improves flexibility

Helps joint stability

Warms up a full range of muscles evenly

Reduces risk of injury pulled muscles

Increases circulation steadily and safely

Improves focus

Improves targeting behaviours

It’s great for pups and agility dogs to help with their own body awareness and foot placement.

Canine conditioning is a gentle exercise based on your dog's limitations, nothing is ever forced. Existing health conditions are taken into account. If you are concerned about any exercise programme for your dog you should check with your Veterinarian / Vet Physiotherapist first.

Flexi Pass

Our four session flexi passes are a great way to save if you would like to develop a programme of conditioning with your dog on a more regular basis. Once you buy the pass you can book your sessions as and when you like, whether once a week, once a month or whenever is best for your schedule. Your Dog Trainer will plan sessions individual to your dogs needs and to those of you as an owner/handler.

All sessions are designed and taught by Alex - a qualified Clinical Canine Massage Therapist, Certified Canine Conditioning and Fitness Coach and Certified Dog Trainer
