What to expect in a taught session
Canine conditioning incorporates stretch, strength and balance exercises which can help with flexibility, muscle strength, proprioception (body and spatial awareness) and balance. It also promotes focus and calm which can activate the parasympathetic nervous system which can reduce fear in anxious dogs and help them to relax.
In these taught sessions you will be shown a full range of warm up/down exercises specific to your dog, working on general and/or targeted muscle groups. A mixture of stretching (both dynamic and static) and balance exercises on different surfaces will be incorporated.
